You control your monthly budget on network support. There are different stages to implementing a successful support plan for any company based on their chosen level of support.
Preliminary Support Plans
Depending on your choice of support service package, a preliminary support plan package may be essential. The preliminary support plan (PSP) is a one time event. Our staff will analyze your current network infrastructure. We will make a recommendation on the correct hardware and software necessary for providing peak performance, reliability and security for your network. It is our experience, that at this stage, hardware and software upgrades are necessary. This is essential to the goal of reducing maintenance costs. Our staff will schedule convenient time to perform these upgrades if needed.
Our Preliminary Support involves the following:
Network Assessment
- Conduct an extensive security audit and network performance analysis
- Conduct vulnerability scans
- Conduct Antivirus and Malware analysis
- Conduct analysis of current backup procedures
- Conduct documentation of the current network state
Network Normalization
We will address all issues discovered during our assessment stage and upgrade hardware and software necessary for a secure and optimal network performance.
- Standardize workstation and network operating systems
- Upgrade necessary hardware
- Configure update services for Microsoft and non-Microsoft software
- Implement Anti-Malware solutions for servers and workstations
- Document the network
- Create network and application baseline.
Network Monitoring
Our monitoring service is part of our effort to provide our clients with outstanding support services. Our support staff is able to monitor and address 24/7 critical network hardware and services. It is an effective tool but not a replacement for scheduled monthly visits by our support team. Clients may incur initial setup fee for our remote monitoring service.
Remote Support
This is not a replacement for the standard on-site support but Remote Support Service is a cost effective and efficient method of monitoring and managing certain network components. It also provides quick response opportunities for some network alert conditions. This service requires an initial setup by Univirtek staff and may include an additional firewall dedicated solely for this service.
IT Monthly Maintenance
Monthly maintenance is a critical component of our planned support services. After the completion of our preliminary support service, we will provide regular on-site and remote support to maintain your network. Our support staff will visit your facility monthly to conduct regular maintenance activities. You control the amount of time that our technical support staff spends on your facility monthly.
Our technician will always compare current network performance against the baseline taken during the normalization process. Our support staff will perform any task necessary as part of your customized package plan. At a minimum, our staff will do the following;
- Review Backup procedures
- Review Virus and Malware logs
- Review Printing systems and their configurations
- Resolve Sharing conflicts
- Review ISP SLA level and other connectivity issues
- Review log files for critical systems.
